These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of StudyEdge AI ("the Service"), operated by StudyEdge AI ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use StudyEdge AI.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You may not share your account with others or create accounts for others without their consent.
You may only create one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits is not permitted and may result in termination of all associated accounts.

StudyEdge AI uses AI to generate study schedules, session plans, flashcards, quizzes, and study coach advice. This content is generated automatically and may not always be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific situation. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before relying on it. We are not liable for any academic outcomes resulting from your use of AI-generated content.
StudyEdge AI offers a free plan and paid subscription plans (Pro and Unlimited). Paid plans are billed on a monthly, semester, or yearly basis depending on the option you select.
All billing is handled by Lemon Squeezy, who acts as the merchant of record. By subscribing, you agree to Lemon Squeezy's Terms of Service. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
Prices are listed in USD and may be subject to applicable taxes depending on your location.
Refunds are available within 7 days of your first payment only. Once a free trial has ended and your card has been charged, that charge is non-refundable. Renewal charges are non-refundable. To request a refund on an initial charge, contact us at support@getstudyedge.com within 7 days of the charge. Refunds will not be granted outside this window except where required by applicable law.
The free plan is subject to usage limits including a maximum number of courses and AI queries per month. We reserve the right to adjust free plan limits with notice. If you exceed plan limits, you will be prompted to upgrade.
You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to your paid plan features until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account will revert to the free plan. Your data will remain accessible unless you choose to delete your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the Service. If we terminate your account without cause, we will issue a prorated refund for any unused portion of a paid subscription period.
StudyEdge AI and its underlying technology, design, and branding are owned by StudyEdge AI. The content you create inside the app (your study plans, notes, and session data) belongs to you. We do not claim ownership over your personal study content.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, StudyEdge AI is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to academic outcomes, data loss, or service interruptions. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific academic outcomes will result from using StudyEdge AI.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved under Canadian law. If you are located outside Canada, local laws may also apply to you.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date and notify you by email if the changes are material. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
